I don’t know how addicted you are to Weather.com reports, but there’s been some hellacious winds hitting my neck of the woods lately, which always makes for all kinds of crap getting washed up on the beach and just generally making it look like a landfill.
The other day was incredibly warm, so on my way to the grocery store, I decided to take the long way and stop by the beach. Sure enough, not only was there all manner of seaweed, garbage, buoys, ropes, whatever, but apparently a massive school of puffer fish got caught in the carnage. There were tons of fish carcasses littering the beach for hundreds and hundreds of feet. The seagulls and flies seemed happy, but damn if it didn’t stink. :O
